Feng Shui is the science and art of placement. It refers not only to the placement of homes and furniture but also the placement in cycles of time.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Did you know that our founding fathers didn’t all agree on the same time to celebrate our independence from Britain? Our founding fathers chose the time to adopt our Declaration of Independence. It was voted in favor on July 2, 1776. The Declaration of independence was formally adopted on July 4th. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson didn’t agree on when to celebrate our Independence.
John Adams thought it should be celebrated on the July 2nd because that is when it was when the congressional congress voted for it. Thomas Jefferson thought it should be celebrated it on July 4rth because that was when it was formally adopted. Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers of our country, wrote the Declaration of Independence. More than likely that is the reason why we celebrate July 4rth as our Independence Day.
Another interesting fact is that the 4th of July is aphelion. This is the day that the earth is in its furthest position to the sun, in its orbit around it. January 5th is Perihelion or the closest position to the sun in the earth’s orbit around it. This is significant because the earth was the furthest from the sun meaning it was in its most yin position because the sun is represents yang energy. On the 4th of July the earth began getting closer to the sun or increasing in yang energy as the earth grows closer to the sun.

Aphelion marks the Earths return to the sun’s yang energy
Timing is important; like planting and harvesting crops. The United States adopted the Declaration of Independence with the blessing of the sun’s increasing energy. Whether the founding fathers knew it or not adopting the Declaration of Independence on July 4th instead of July 2nd was a more fortunate time to create the country that we now celebrate.
This 4th of July consider the gift our founding fathers gave us while you are enjoying the fruits of their labor. Have fun and be responsible in your celebration.
