Happy Father’s Day

Did you know that in ancient China that feng shui was originally used to benefit the father?  China was a patriarchal society and in many places it still is. Back then it was the father’s responsibility to go to work and provide for his family. That is why feng shui is focused on the father.

Now it isn’t uncommon for the woman to earn more money than her husband or her partner. Today, classical feng shui can be directed to support the head of household regardless of sex, sexual orientation, or gender. The focal point remains on who brings home the bacon, so to speak.

Here is to our fathers’. Today, we celebrate them for bringing us the gift of life with our mothers, and providing a doorway to into this beautiful green planet.
